There has been a fly bar and top clips added which add a little more headroom inside. The Granite gear blaze 60 weighs in at 3 lbs and is made of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene. It is fully adjustable and has a re-fit hip belt and zippered side pocket with large hip belt pockets as well. There is both men and women’s version and comes out in the spring of 2019.
10. Katadyn BeFree Water Filter
The Katadyn BeFree Collapsible Water Filter bottle is high flow and lightweight water bottle designed to filter water while hiking. They offer a 1 liter and 20 oz bottle size version and have a 1000 liter capacity. They then will need to be replaced. With a large opening at the top, they can filter 1 liter of water in 30 seconds, however, this non-standard size does make it incompatible with other things that are made for hiking using the standard water bottle opening. The filter will filter out .1 micron which will work with most of North America’s water supplies taking out the protozoa and bacteria, however, it will not filter out viruses.
